So I found out recently that Scholastic is having a graphic novel contest for their Graphix imprint. The winner will get their series published along with boundless fame, fortune, and eternal glory. Naturally, this made me feel that this would be the perfect time to finally get off my butt and finish the first book of my Kid Hercules saga: Kid Hercules and the Giant Angry Monster Sausage.
The artwork presented here was done long ago, well before I did the 365 Challenge, and it shows. These pages were done for a sequential art class I took while at VCU, so I really didn’t have time to solidify my character designs. My plan is to completely redraw everything so that the art is more in line with my current style.
